We are pleased to share that Prof. Dr. Hyrije Abazi Alili, Dean of the Faculty of Business and Economics at Southeast European University (SEEU), has joined the Economic Literacy Programme as a fellow under the Academic Track.

This programme is designed to support academic professionals in enhancing their contributions to economic education. As part of her fellowship, Prof. Dr. Abazi Alili will be using "Common Sense Economics" as core teaching material in the course "Fundamentals of Business Economics" at the Faculty of Business and Economics.

This course, a core part of the curriculum with over 55 students enrolled, will introduce key economic principles in a practical and accessible way, providing students with essential economic knowledge. In addition to her teaching, Prof. Dr. Abazi Alili will be participating in the EconLit Conference 2024, where she will engage with other educators, researchers, and policymakers to explore strategies for advancing economic literacy.

The Economic Literacy Programme is a collaborative effort between the Liberal Alternative Institute and the Economics Fundamentals Initiative, aiming to promote economic education and literacy across various sectors and institutions.
